Day 36 – Sunday April 18th
We left at 11:00 and drove the 110 miles to Johnny’s Lakefront RV Park just south of Mobile Alabama. We met our neighbors Eric and Amy who are living here full time since their house was destroyed in the hurricane. They were doing a crawfish boil so I joined in.
The park has 3 large waterslides so Braden and I went swimming. It also has a lazy river pool which we floated.
Braden met a 15 year old girl at the pool and they exchanged numbers and he’s been texting here. Very cute.
Day 37 – Monday April 19th
We had a nice morning in the Alabama sun and then drove into Fairhope to check out the town. We brought the bikes and rode around for an hour down by the coast. We eventually ended up at a very nice restaurant in town where the food was spectacular.
This part of Alabama is spectacular and beautiful.
Day 38 – Tuesday April 20th
We joined Captain Rusty at his house on the river and he took us paddle boarding. He's been a captain for 40 years and knew every inch of the river and bay. It was amazing because the area was beautiful and Briana loved it.
After paddle boarding we took Randy for an amazing Lunch at the local grill. Alabama really showed up!
Later, we went to Alligator Alley, which is a big property literally filled with Alligators. There must have been 1000 of them and the park is build into the swamps so they are really like in the wild. Crazy. We got to feed them and hold them. Pretty damn cool.
